The Mbu Pufferfish can grow to a length of 26 inches long and is commonly referred to as the giant pufferfish, because of its size. As the pufferfish grows, it must feed on hard and crunchy foods such shrimp shells, mussels, clams, and crab legs. These types of foods help to keep the pufferfish's teeth filed down. The Mbu Puffer originates from the middle and lower sections of the Congo River as well as the east coast of Lake Tanganyika in Africa.
