Emperor red snapper

Emperor Red Snappers are uniquely patterned fish that can grow up 4 feet long and weigh over 70 pounds.  As these fish age, they lose their stripes and take on a reddish pink color. Emperor Red Snappers are found in a variety of different habitats in the Indian and Pacific Ocean that range from coastal bays to lagoons and, most commonly, coral reefs.

Scientific Name: Lutjanus sebae
