Tesselata moray eel

One of the largest members of the Eel family, this Tesselata Moray Eel is 15 years old and over 5 feet long! These nocturnal fish have terrible eyesight and rely on their sense of smell to navigate. During the day, the Moray Eel can be seen peering out from its hole within the rocky crevices of its home. This fish is also very aggressive.
